Chat safety and boundaries
YOYO chat is not counseling; how crises, minors, and sensitive topics are handled.
WebLINE
What this guide covers
Understand what Chat Mode can and cannot do, and how the platform responds to crises or sensitive topics.
What YOYO chat is
- For listening, casual chat, and emotional companionship — it does not auto-save tasks or write to Space.
- Not licensed counseling, medical diagnosis, or emergency rescue.
Topics the platform may block or refuse (overview)
Inbound and outbound content is safety-checked. Typical cases:
| Type | Platform response |
|---|---|
| Self-harm / crisis | No deep AI chat; prompt trusted people nearby, emergency hotlines, or App human support |
| Intimate or sexual content involving minors | Refuse; suggest switching to Task Mode or changing topic |
| Clearly illegal content | Refuse; suggest contacting police or emergency services |
| Sensitive politics | Do not expand; guide to lighter topics |
Wording may change with product updates; ops can maintain post-block reply copy in admin.
If you are in crisis
- Contact trusted family, friends, or colleagues nearby.
- Call your local emergency hotline or crisis line.
- In DodoAI App open Me → Human support (support is not medical care but can help with referrals).
L3 intimate companionship notes
- Browser / PWA only, with 18+ and separate agreement.
- Tone may be closer, but same safety rules apply; outbound replies get extra review.
- See Chat settings.
Data and privacy
- Chat topic summaries kept ~3 months for continuity; not written to My Space.
- Still subject to AI privacy and desensitization before third-party AI.
