Clear session data
Delete the conversation history under the current context in YOYO settings; what is the difference between My Space and local cache?
What this guide solves
This guide explains how to clear the session data in the current YOYO context (including Command Help replies, AI conversation bubbles, etc.) within the App, and the differences between "My Space" and "Local Cache."
Entry
| Entry | Path |
|---|---|
| From YOYO page | Top right YOYO settings → Bottom Clear session data (current context only) |
| From Settings Hub | Settings → YOYO settings → Clear session data |
| Clear all conversations | Settings → Data cleanup → All YOYO chats one-click cleanup |
When entering from the YOYO page, the Return to chat path will be included; after successful clearing, it usually automatically returns to the YOYO chat page, with the interface only keeping the welcome message.
What Will Be Deleted
- The YOYO chat records (user and assistant messages) under the current session context;
- For example: Command Help category descriptions, a specific AI suggestions conversation, chat history in office/life contexts.
The context is determined by the scenario when you enter YOYO, such as:
- Default YOYO (all-round assistant)
- A specific business module (like meetings, AI expense summary)
- AI suggestions tab (office/life/study/expenses)
- Chat Mode (including different chat styles)
Each context is stored separately; clearing will only affect the current context and will not delete sessions from other scenarios.
What Won't Be Deleted
| Won't Delete | Description |
|---|---|
| Tasks, reminders, documents, etc. in Space | Recorded data is stored in the cloud account, and needs to be cleaned using Data Cleanup or deleted individually |
| Local cache on this device | See Local Storage |
| YOYO conversations from other contexts | Only clears the current context |
| YOYO's understanding of me (Companion summary) | See Chat Memory for individual deletion |
Steps
- Enter the YOYO scene you want to clear (for example, the same page where you just viewed Command Help).
- Open YOYO settings.
- Scroll down to Clear session data.
- After reading the instructions, click the green button and select Confirm in the confirmation box.
- Upon returning to YOYO, you should see the Welcome message, and the historical bubbles along with the Command Help button area will reappear with a new session.
If prompted with No session data available in the current context, it means there are no cloud conversation records to delete in this scene.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why do I still see old messages after clearing?
A: Please ensure you have entered the settings from the same context to clear. If you still experience issues after returning, try clearing local storage and logging in again, or completely exit YOYO and re-enter.
Q: Can I clear conversations from LINE here?
A: No. This function is for sessions on the App/LIFF YOYO page; LINE chat history is managed by the LINE client.
